On Sunday, March 15, we will be hosting new sensory friendly hours at New England Aquarium. These hours will run 8:00-10:00 a.m., with a free movie in our theater from 10:00-10:45. During these hours, we'll modify some of the building lights and sounds, offer designated quiet spaces, and have physical supports available to borrow like headphones and weighted lap pads. Crowds will be reduced to help create a welcoming atmosphere. During the movie, house lights will remain on and some seats will be designated for folks accompanied by service animals. Tickets will be discounted, thanks in part to generous support from the Lowell Institute.
